Common Questions
What kind of photos do you need?
Primary Photo: We require one clear front-facing photograph. For the best resemblance, please provide an "ear-to-ear" photo where the face is clearly visible looking forward.
Expression: If the person is smiling in the photo, we will sculpt a smile. If they are serious, the doll will be serious.
Body/Outfit: For full head-to-toe customs, photos of the specific outfit, shoes, and body pose help us match every detail perfectly.
How does the proofing process work?
We want you to love your doll, so you are involved in every step! You will receive email proofs for approval:
- Clay Head Proof: You see the sculpture before it's molded.
- Body Proof: For full custom dolls, you approve the body shape and pose.
- Color Proof: You see the full painting before we ship.
We include free rounds of changes during the clay stage to get the likeness right.
Why is your material "Retail Quality"?
Unlike cheap polymer clay dolls that can be brittle and look like "craft projects," we use high-grade Polyresin. This is the same heavy, durable material used for high-end retail figurines found in stores. This allows for finer details and a solid weight.
