What are custom bobblehead premade bodies?
Our gift store displays many unique custom bobblehead premade bodies to choose from. The bobblehead premade bodies are shown within our product catalog online. The custom bobblehead doll heads shown on our website are for sample purposes only. The complexion, hair style and color along with the sculpted head will look like your photo. So disregard the head on our samples.
A custom bobblehead premade body cannot be altered/changed from the type of pose or clothing the doll is wearing, as depicted in our samples.
If our sample shows any logos or text, it will not be included on your doll unless selected on the order form. (fees apply). Some samples depict a doll wearing a hat. This too is not included in your purchase unless selected on the order form.
If you need to have a different pose or different type of clothing, you will have to create a full head to toe doll in order for us to sculpt the doll as you would like. Our website shows many premade samples to choose from and we recommend looking to see if one of our premade bodies can work for you. Also, try our search bar at the top of the page, to make searching a little easier. Keywords to use: Golf, Baseball, Office, etc. will narrow the search; saving you time.
Pick how tall you want your custom bobblehead doll.
By default our custom bobblehead dolls are 7 inches tall, which is the industry standard.
During the online design process, you can choose the size you would like.
It is important to understand the following. A 7 inch doll compared to a 9 inch doll is not only 2 inches higher. The entire proportion of the doll is larger making it wide as well as high. This holds true with all sizes.
Some of our pieces are either on the ground sitting or in a car. These are not true to the size you select. They will be proportional based on the pose and end up smaller overall.

What is custom bobblehead proofing? Our custom bobble head dolls are created with your guidance. We offer free proofs during each step during the creation of your hand sculpted custom bobblehead doll. This helps ensure greater satisfaction when the bobblehead doll is completed and mailed to you, we ask for your assistance in each step of creating your custom bobblehead doll.
Why do I want custom bobblehead proofing? In most cases, when ordering a custom bobblehead doll, we do not know the person in the photo/s that you will provide to us. Because of this we encourage our clients to assist us to make approvals or modifications in each step of the custom bobblehead process. We provide better products with amazing results, when proofing is provided. Second, we may miss an important feature that you can point out to us, thus allowing us to modify what is needed. We feel we are most successful, when our custom bobblehead dolls are received, better than expected! By doing so, we ensure the continued success of referrals and reorders.
What type of custom bobble proofs do I see? It truly depends on the type of doll you order or the material you choose. During the custom bobblehead process, we can provide complexion proofs, head proofs, body proofs (if full custom is utilized) and full color completed proofs. Each step can be approved or modified while in that phase. If a change is requested, we will amend the doll proof and provide a revised proof for approval. If the new proof is approved, we will bake the mold and move forward towards another type of proof. Each approval brings us closer to the finished product, your custom bobblehead doll.
Super important - Some of our production options; such as 1 week /1-2 weeks time lines, will only have internal proofing. We make the dolls, using our internal proofing only and then send the doll/dolls to you. If your time line permits, we HIGHLY suggest a 2-3 week or even longer time line so you can provide the approvals at each step, as this leads to our customers satisfaction.
Once the approval is provided in each stage, you can no longer modify the mold. This is crucial in complexion proofs and clay head / body proofs. Once approved the item is baked. Once baked, only colors can be modified. If we have to make a structural change, on an already approved head/body, this means we have to start over again, so this will result in a re-sculpting fee.
